Document Description
The subdivision is located on 19.72-acres within the urban community of Linden in San Joaquin County. The subdivision will consist of 70 residential lots ranging in size form 8,000 square feet to 16,000 square feet. The applicant has provided a "will serve" letter from the Linden County Water District stating that the district will provide water and sewer services to the subdivision. The applicant has proposed a 69,000 square foot community drainage basin (terminal drainage system) to serve the subdivision. Linden has a Master Drainage Plan; however, it is not known at this time when the system will be operational. Until such time, a temporary retention basin will serve the subdivision. The basin will be fenced and maintained by the Dept. of Public Works as part of County Service Area 24 (CSA 24). The subdivision site is currently used for agricultural purposes as a walnut orchard.
