Document Description
This proposed project involves the development of a 0.25-acre lot within an existing residential development. The Project would include construction of a single-family dwelling on the lot of which is bordered by three sides by existing houses. Project Activities include grading; installation of underground utilities (water, sewer, etc.); construction of curb/gutter, sidewalk, planting strip, and pavement along the lot’s
frontage; construction of driveway; construction of a single-family home, including the use of welders, concrete trucks, and cranes.
The Project will result in incidental take of one western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia). which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation
