Document Description
The proposed project includes the construction of a public park on approximately 4.5 acres. The park is located within the urbanized Central Neighborhood Planning Area of the City of Escondido. The property would ultimately be developed with parking and recreational play areas including, but not limited to playground equipment, restrooms, open turf area, basketball half courts, a gazebo, picnic tables, seating and pathways, and parking for approximately 25 vehicles. The property would be constructed with fencing, security lighting, landscaping, and internal paths in a manner to facilitate security and emergency access to all areas of the site. The facility would operate and be open to the public between the hours of dawn and dusk.
