Document Description
The proposed project involves the realignment of existing 66-kilo Volt (kV) electrical transmission lines where they traverse the grounds of the CSUCI campus. The lines are owned and operated by Southern California Edison (SCE) and are located on an easement granted by the California State University. The existing transmission lines are located on property that is planned for development with university-related housing in accordance with the CSUCI Master Plan. Campus planners have promoted the relocation of the lines to a more remote location that is not intended for development.
