Document Description
A steelhead/ rainbow trout migration passage impediment exists near the Jalama Road Bridge crossing over Salsipuedes Creek near the City of Lompoc. The project will modify the structure to create a migration path for fish during low flow periods, by constructing three step pools in the bedrock outcrop situated along the left streambank. The downstream outlet of the pools will consist of concrete weirs, which will act to control the pool depth and concentrate flow across the outlet. These minor modifications will not compromise the integrity of the bridge footings.
