Document Description
Three erosion control projects will be constructed to assist landowners with solutions to water quality and erosion in El Jaro Creek, tributary to Salsipuedes Creek. The projects involve a floodplain enhancement to reduce bank erosion, removal of an undersized culvert, and stabilization of the streambank to prevent erosion, and stabilization of an exposed side draw. The project will directly enhance instream and riparian habitat, which will benefit Southern California steelhead, California red-legged frog, Southwestern pond turtle, and Southwestern willow fly catcher.
