Document Description
Improve the bank stability of a Class II watercourse (Area C). To prevent bank erosion along the Class II watercourse, approximately 40 lineal feet of channel bank will be sloped back to a 1:1 slope using a backhoe or excavator starting at the channel edge. To aid drainage and prevent erosion, a more-defined oulet for the Class III watercourse will be constructed that will be five feet wide and at least two feet deep. The channel in this area will be armored with a minimum of 10-inch diameter durable rock that will remain in place. The Class III channel from its outlet into the Class II to upslope of a distance of approximately 175 feet will be excavated at a 15% slope gradient. The channel will be excavated to a depth of 4 feet wide and a depth of 2 1/2 feet deep.
