Document Description
Remove standing dead and downed trees alongside, in and across Donner Creek at Donner Memorial State Park to protect resources and improve visitor access. All timber to be cut in place and removed by hand to minimize soil disturbance; trees crossing the creek will be grip hoisted to dry ground for cutting and removal. No heavy equipment will be used and downed trees will not be dragged to insure the least amount of soil disturbance. This project protects and restores natural resources and supports continued use and maintenance of the area.
