Document Description
The proposed project would make improvements to the existing irrigation system, extending from east wing of the State Capitol between 12th and 15th Street at Capitol Park. The irrigation piping, catch basins, and storm drains will be installed, and curbs and asphalt pavement replaced in their previous locations. Care shall be taken to protect existing trees, lawn, and light standards during construction. Construction will be of short duration and timed to take place when the Legislature is not in session. Construction signage, safety fencing and temporary barricades will be provided. The project is needed because the system requires frequent repairs, and the project will improve the operation of the system and the drainage.
