Document Description
This maintenance program (bank stabilization) pevents further erosion and protects life and property in anticipation of high volume water releases from Hoover Dam and flood runoff from tributary drainages. Spot repairs (placement of rip-rap material) will be performed as needed along existing armored banklines, jetties, and training structures located along the Mohave Division of the Colorado River between Riover Miles 234.0 and 258.0. No work will occur on unprotected banklines. No excavation and no clearing of riparian native vegetation will occur below the Ordinary High Water Mark, and all placements of materials will occur on the face of the previously armored banklines to fill any holes.
