Document Description
Proposed acquisition of the 103-acre Stanley Peak property, located to the northeast City boundary. Partial funding for the acquisition is anticipated from the California Deaprtment of Recreation under the Habitat Conservation Fund Program for FY 2003-2004. The property will be conserved in perpetuity as a natural open space and habitat conservation area and will be accessible to the public for passive recreation along the existing trails connecting to Daley Ranch trails. In addition, the property will provide a wildlife habitat corridor between the Daley Ranch Conservation Bank located to the west and City-owned watershed property to the east. The property has a Rural 1 General Plan designation (Tier 3-Lake Wohlford).
