Document Description
Renovate and upgrade facilities at basalt Area Boat Launching Facility parking lot in the San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area to improve visitor services, protect public safety, and support continued use and maintenance. Install asphalt concrete (AC) overlay to existing parking area and restripe. Remove existing AC pavement on boat launch ramp and replace with cast-in-place reinforced concrete ramp apron; install temporary gravel ramp for use while new ramp is being constructed. Replace existing holding tanks and install new septic tank and pressure-closed leachfield. Rehabilitate three existing shade ramadas and construct one new ADA-accessible shade ramada adjacent to existing restroom. Alter walkways and parking space adjacent to restroom and fish cleaning station as necesary to meet ADA standards. Construct two ADA cr/trailer parking spaces adjacent to the top o the launch ramp; post and stripe for disabled parking. Install retaining walls as needed to prevent erosion of cut slope along sidewalk and shade ramada areas.
