Document Description
Stabilize an eroding section on the bank of the Russian River between two existing sections of rip-rap. Rock rip-rap will be placed over an approximately 100-foot length of river bank. The rip-rap will consist of about 350 CY of 1/2 to 1 ton rock placed in a layer about 4 feet thick. The voids bwteen the rock will be filled with river gravel and soil. The bank above the top of the rip-rap will be compacted and graded to a 2:1 slope. Willow cuttings will be placed within the rip-rap to restore habitat and provide additional bank stabilizatin. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2003-0217-3 pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1603.
