Document Description
Purchase property in Mendocino County, adjacent to the City of Willits for the purpose of mitigating impacts caused by Caltrans and Federal Highway Administration's proposed construction of a new segment of U.S. 101 bypassing Willits. Purchase of the land will be for the protection and enhancement of existing biological resources and restoration and/or creation of additional resources, including, but not limited to, wetland habitats, oak woodland habitats, sensitive plant species, such as Baker's Meadowfoam.
