Document Description
Project consists of various structural ugrades including the stabilization, preservation, and partial restoration of the historic Church and Monjeiro buildings. This project is related to SCH #2002048444 which provided needed maintenance and structural upgrades to three other buildings at the park. Some very limited site excavation and grading will also occur to improve drainage immediately adjacent to the buildings.

No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated. A resource ecologist will ensure avoidance of significant impacts to natural resources. An archeologist will ensure avoidance of significant impacts to cultural resource. Project does not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees (Class 4). Temporary use of land having negligible or no permanent effects on the environment (Class 4c). Project does not result in the taking of endangered, rare, or threatened plant or animal species or significant erosion and sedimentation of surface waters (Class 4i). Project is limited to maintenance, repair, stabilization, rehabilitation, restoration, preservation, conservation or reconstruction of historical resources in a manner consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properies (Class 31).
