Document Description
The proposed project would use directional boring equipment to drill under Alrita Carta Creek to install a conduit for a fiber optic line. The conduit would be two inches in diameter and would be not less than 12 feet below the bottom of the creek bed. The entry and exit bore pits would be located at least 100 feet from each bank of the creek. The bore would be along the east side of Sacramento Drive and would follow an existing Southern California Gas pipeline. Emergency response equipment would be onsite in the event of a frac-out of drilling material. No disturbance of the creek banks or riparian vegetation would occur.
