Document Description
Remove newly grown vegetation from the stream channel to facilitate the flow of water through the project site. After water has ceased to flow in the creek, and the creek bed is dry, the Operator would use a bulldozer to scrape the surface of the creek bed to remove immature willows that sprout and grow in the channel. No soil or sediment would be removed from the streambed during scraping. Tires, trash, dead and downed wood and other debris found in the creek or that were deposited in the creek by previous landowners would be removed and disposed of at an appropriate offsite location, while dead and downed wood may be burned at least 75 feet from the stream channel.
