Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to perform repairs and code upgrades to the swimming pools at its pumping plants along the Colorado River Aqueduct (CRA), including the Eagle Mountain Pumping Plant, Gene Pumping Plant, Julian Hinds Pumping Plant, an Iron Mountain Pumping Plant. Work to be performed includes demolishing and replacing existing decks; installing new drain lines, new pumps, and new filters; re-plumbing to bring the pools up to code; re-plastering the pools; installing new lights and light niches; upgrading the electrical work; replacing pool tile to include depth markers and step trim; refinishing deck coating on decks that are not replaced; and installing 10-foot deep drywells for backwash.
