San Francisco State University (SFSU) proposes to expand and seismically strengthen the existing J. Paul Leonard Library on the SFSU campus in San Francisco, California. The expansion would house an automated retrieval and storage system, additional electronic workstations and study spaces, and improved facilities for the Audio-Visual/instruction Television (AV/ITV) Department. In addition, the Sutro Library, a branch of the California State Library System would be relocated to the expanded facility.
