Document Description
City of Vacaville Public Works Division is proposing to modify the Old School Street Bridge by removing a 5-foot (approx) section of railing from the bridge to create a new entrance onto the bridge deck. As part of this project the flag monument area, which is located at the southeast corner of the bridge, will be altered. The metal fence surrounding the monument will be removed along with a large domed post and a concrete pad. The ground level of the monument area will be raised to match that of the adjacent sidewalk and bridge deck.
