Document Description
The proposed project would install a new 24" water transmission main between Ocean Street and the Bay Street Reservoir, approximately 11,200 feet in length, located mostly within City streets. The proposed pipeline would have a capacity of approximately 4,000 gallons per minute, which could be increaed in the future with the installation of a pump station. The proposed project is intended to increase the daily replenishment rate at the Bay Street Reservoir by removing hydraulic constraints that currently exist between the Graham Hill Water Treatment Plan and this facility, thereby allowing for more efficient operation of the treatment plant. It would not increase the treating capacity of the plant, nor result in an increase in the net amount of water being treated from City sources.
