Document Description
Zone 7 Water Agency (Zone 7) proposes to replace the ammoniation systems at three existing Zone 7 well sites, including Mocho Well No. 1, Hopyard Well No. 6 and Stoneridge Well. These sites are located in developed, urban portions of the City of Pleasanton, in Alameda County. The ammoniation systems would be housed within 12- by 13-foot structures with a maximum height of 12 feet. The buildings would be located adjacent to existing pump house structures within the fence lines of the well sites, and integrated in the architectural style and colors of onsite structures. Each building woud contain a 500-gallon aqueous ammonia tank, chemical feed pump, and safely devices that would ensure containment of the chemical in the event of accidental spills.
