The site is currently undeveloped. The Lincoln Crossing Specific Plan for the surrounding area, which includes school, open space, commercial, and residential development has been approved and has a certified EIR. The project site is designated for school developement in the previous Specific Plan and EIR.
Document Description
The proposed project consists of site acquisition, construction, and operation of elementary school facilities, including play area, hard courts, and an amphitheater, approximately 57,055 square feet of school administrative and classroom space, 310,356 square feet of planted turf and landscaped area, roadway lighting, security lighting, 261,156 square feet of paving (including 69-parking spaces), and supportive infrastructure. Grading the site is expected to commence in the spring of 2004. Construction is expected to commence in the summer of 2004. The school will operate on the standard 10-month schedule from approximately mid-August until late May or early June. The school will have primary operating hours between approximately 8:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Estimated enrollment is 600, with approximately 60 employees. The 10.3 acre project is located north of the proposed State Highway 65 Bypass, near the corner of two proposed streets-West Lincoln Parkway and Westwood Boulevard in the southern portion of the City of Lincoln along State Highway 65.
