Document Description
The proposed Conditional Use Permit would allow establishment of the Crystaline Rock Quarry operation at the site of the former Crystaline Mine. The project would entail rock quarrying, crushing, and sales of crushed rock products on the property, which was previously mined for gold by the Sonora Mining Corporation. The proposed reclamation plan documents the planned manner or closure and reclamation of the site, and operational characteristics of the site related to closure and reclamation. Anticipated to have a 15 year lifespan, the project could sell 200, 000 cubic yards of rock a year, and be open for business from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, six days a week. Lower market demand could extend the lifespan.
