Document Description
The proposed project is the acquisition of land adjacent to the existing Chana High School by the Auburn Area Recreation and Park District for development as a community park. This phase of the project would also include minor infrastructure development. The land is currently owned by the Placer Union High School District and is vacant. The project site consists of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 51-210-91. No specific park development plan is under consideration at this time, however potential uses contemplated include open space, pedestrian trails, picnic area, and athletic fields. Further environmental analysis will be conducted to ascertain the environmental impacts of development of a park at this location when a specific park development plan is proposed.
