Document Description
Construct approximately 2000 linear feet of paved, accessible trail extending from the parking/interpretive area at the campground entrance road and along the lake to the day use area terminating in a lake overlook at San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project will provide paved access trails to two restrooms, one in the campground and one in the day use area. Approximately 500 feet of trail at the south end will be located on a side slope, requiring cutting of the slope to establish a 6-8 foot wide bed. Portions of this trail gradient may be as much as 5%. Excavate volunteer trail bed, throughout the trail length, to a depth of approximately 4"-8" to allow the placement of an aggregate base and asphalt concrete.
