Document Description
The purpose of this contract is to demonstrate a new, energy-efficient air-conditioning system in a commercial retail store. The target efficiency improvement is 30 to 60%. The demonstration should also show if the system satisfies comfort and operating requirements for the building and identify remaining design issues for future work. This meets the PIER goal of improving the energy cost/value of California's electricity by demonstrating a new, energy-efficient air-conditioning system that is suitable for use in commercial buildings.
