Document Description
Photodocument deteriorating Native American petroglyphs at Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park to facilitate creation of a permanent archive of these cultural resources for future research and interpretive programs. Remove wooden observation platform and construct new earthen viewing ramp adjacent to petroglyphs. Replace existing fence with a more unobtrusive barrier to ensure protection of archaeological features. All work will be monitored by qualified cultural resource personnel and representatives from the Chaw se' Citizens Advisory Committee. Project protects and conserves cultrual resources.
