Document Description
Provide access to the "Big Stump" area of Calaveras Big Trees State Park to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Remove non-historic wood stairs attached to an existing split rail fencing around the "Big Stump", Construct a steel frame and railing viewing platform and ramp adjacent to the stump to comply with all current ADA standards (steel columns will be placed 10 feet apart, the footings will be approximately 6-8 feet in mesh or cable material will be placed between the railings, and the decking surface will be textured and porous);
