Document Description
The 32.48-acres project consists of enlarging the north and south dams on Upper Bohn Lake by 4.5 feet to increase approx. the reservoir's storage capacity by 1000 acre-feet. The project will expand the reservoir from 220 acres to approx. 248 acres, converting 0.14 acres of stream channel, 0.06 acre of wetland, and 27.44 acres of upland into lake habitat when the reservoir is full. An additional 0.113 acres of wetland at the base of the North Dam will be directly impacted from excavation during dam enlargement activities. Construction activities are limited to the footprint of the existing earthen dams and associated flood protection wall.
