Document Description
The MND was prepared for closure of a waste management facility that formerly accepted liquid and solid wastes produced by geothermal exploration, steam power generation and other geothermal related activities. Closure will generally consist of consolidation and capping of the waste. The Division of water Rights is evaluation one of the mitigation projectsm which is lowering the elevation of Freeman Lake to ensure separation between groundwater and the landfill waste. Water will be used at Freeman Lake for fish and wildlife enhancement at the lake and the adjacent area, in addition to irrigation and stockwatering.
