The proposed project is to upgrade the capacity of the existing Central Plant to increase chiller capacity. The project includes the addition of two chillers (one 1,000 ton absorption chiller, one 2,000 ton centrifugal chiller), a four cell cooling tower and associated pumps and water treatment systems, an upgrade to an existing low pressure boiler to provide high pressure steam for hospital sterilizers and other improvements.
