Document Description
The Department proposes to purchase from the Santa Clara Valley Water District up to 30,000 acre-feet of groundwater stored in the Semitropic Groundwater Banking Program. Water will be made available through exchange with Kern County Water Agency State Water Project deliveries or by direct pump-in to the California Aqueduct. Water would be made available to the 2003 EWA.
