The project entails the slough crossing component of the Watsonville Wetlands Trails Master Plan, in areas around Watsonville Slough and Struve Slough that are within City limits. The project includes a 5.8-mile system of footpaths, bicycle paths, point access for disabled users, and tie-ins to commercial development.
