Document Description
The project site consists of an existing shopping center that was established in the late 1950's. The shopping center is currently undergoing a phased renovation. The project includes an expansion of retail floor area from previous entitlements. If approved, the total shopping center GLA will be approximately 706,650 sq. ft. Major changes from the 2003 proposal include: construction of a new three-level parking structure; two new restaurants and associated public open space improvements along Shoreline Drive, a new approximately 145,000 sq. ft. (127,000 GLA) discount department store (Target) instead of the previously proposed 90,000 square foot store, the renovation of smaller structures located in the northwest corner of the site and new signage throughout the project.
