Document Description
Install vehicular barriers to prevent encroachment into natural areas. Consolidate trails to reduce compaction in natural areas and improve accessibility. Restore eroded areas around picnic sites. Repair CCC site furniture following Secretary of the Interior Standards. Revegetate eroded areas or areas disturbed by construction. Grade site for construction of future comfort station (reviewed and approved as separate project, per Notice of Exemption, SCH #2001088271 filed on 8/17/2001). Remove unsafe informal parking along Southgate Road. Grade and pave one small parking along Southgate Road. Grade and pave one small parking lot to replace informal parking. Correct drainage failures that have caused erosion. Repave disintegrated roadways. Install regulatory signage. Install regulatory signage. Install accessible picnic tables and grills. Install interpretive signage discussing sensitive resources. Recognize, re-grade and pave existing parking areas. Remove unnecessary paving. Relocate several vehicular gates.
