Document Description
The purpose of this project is to provide a site to increase the water recharge capacity of the Water District by approximately 9,000 acre feet per year, to meet the increasing needs for water of over 2 million Orange County residents and workers. The site will be converted into a 6-acre basin from which Santa Ana River and imported water will percolate into the underlying acquifer for later pumping by local cities for potable water use.
