Document Description
The proposed project involves the installation of interim solids handling facilities (belt presses and related equipment) at the Robert B. Diemer Filtration Plant (Diemer Plant) north lagoons. The residual solids handling capability at the Diemer Plant needs to be expanded to provide reliable treatment of the increased solids generated from the increased reliance of water from the State Water Project. Two temporary belt presses and related equipment would be located at the North Lagoons in Telegraph Canyon on the north side of the Diemer Plant. The temporary facilities would be in operation three to four years, until permanent facilities are constructed.
