Document Description
Caltrans proposes to rehabilitate route 166 in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties from kilo post 88.5 to 113.6 (post mile 55.1 to 70.6). The project would include overlaying the existing pavement, widening the existing lanes to 3.6 meters (12 feet), widening the shoulders to 2.3 meters (4 feet), installing a 2-way turn lane in the town of New Cuyama, installing 2 new left turn lanes, one at each school, widening the Branch Canyon and Salisbury Canyon Bridges, and associated drainage work.
