Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes, Los Cerritos Middle School Site

The purpose of this project is to provide a Boys and Girls Club for the students of Los Cerritos Middle School for use before and after school hours, on school holidays and during the summer. The project will be operated as a joint venture between the Boys and Girls Club and the School District. The effort will be executed through a joint venture agreement providing for the joint use of the new and existing facilities at Los Cerritos Middle School. As such, the school district is able to utilize the club facilities during school hours for academic purposes within the planned technology center, music and dance room, and multipurpose room. The project consists of an approximately 10,100 square foot building proposed for development on the Los Cerritos Middle School Campus along Avenida de las Flores. The proposed location is immediately west of the existing gymnasium and would have a parking lot with driveways providing access to and from Avenida de las Flores.
