Document Description
Construction of a park at the southwest corner of Santa Rosa Street and Marsh Street. Approximately half of the 11,000 square foot site is within the San Luis Obispo Creek channel. The site was previously developed with a service station and later, an auto repair facility. It is currently vacant except for a concrete wall that divides the creek from the previously developed areas of the site. The proposed park includes an entry plaza, pedestrian walkways, a pavilion surrounded by a manmade pond on three sides, a bridge across the pond, a cantilevered creek overlook, public art, benches, and landscaping.
