Phase 1 (2004) - New Library and Learning Resources Center: The new building would be 62,500 assigned square feet (ASF) and two stories high; the existing bookstore building would be demolished. New Central Power Plant in Women's Showers and Lockers Building: This power plant would include two natural-gas-fired electric generators, a chilled water plant to provide cooling to 7 campus buildings, and a cogeneration system to use recovered heat form the engine coolant and exhaust to provide space and water heating for the campus.
