Document Description
An unnamed ephemeral drainage swale flows along the eastern edge of agricultural fields on Quail Lodge property in Carmel, Monterey County, California (APN 157-171-058). The proposed project would construct a sanitary sewer extension from the existing Cramel Area Watewater District to the Quail Lodge Club House. A trench would be cut in an existing dirt road to contain the sewer line. The trench would cross the unnamed drainage channel using an existing abandoned road, then turn along the eastern edge of a detention pond, running adjacent to, but outside of the top edge of the detention pond. Am 8-inch PVD pie would be laid in the trench and the trench then backfilled and compacted. The road would be paved at a later date to provide access to the adjacent agricultural fields. The proposed project is needed to take the existing facilities off septic systems and run the sewage to a sewage treatment facility.
