Within the City of Oxnard, Pleasant Valley Road is 4-lanes, with the exception of the segment between SR 1 and Olds Road, which is 2-lanes. The project consists of widening this segment to 4-lanes. The area affected by widening is a roadside ditch would be replaced with an underground culvert. About 0.90 acres would be acquired by the City as right-of-way.
