Document Description
Corral Hollow Creek, an intermittent stream that is subject to regular flood events, winds its way along the northen boundary of Carnegie SVRA, within San Joaquin and Alameda Counties. There are two bridged stream crossings at Carnegie with culverts that require annual clean-out and maintenance yard and the sector office. The culverts have filled with sediment and are severely restricting the flow of water in the creek. This project will involve cleaning out the culverts and excavating an area of approximately 25-ft. long on both sides of the bridges to approximately 4-ft. deep. Approximately 400 cubic yards of cobbles and sediment will be removed from the streambed surrounding the bridges.
