Document Title
Cedar Grove Apartments/Mourelatos Family Partnership Affordable Housing Project
Document Type
NOP - Notice of Preparation of a Draft EIR
Received
Present Land Use
Undeveloped forest land/Plan Area Statement 021
Document Description
The project would require an amendment to the Tahoe Vista Community Plan for the annexation of the land to the Tahoe Vista Community Plan, Special Area 6. In addition, a boundary line adjustment would be required to delineate a 6-acre parcel on the northeastern portion of the site for the transfer of ownership from the Mourelatos family to AHDC. The resulting 12.5 acre parcel to remain under Mourelatos ownership would include the southern 6-acre resort property that is not currently proposed for additional development. This area is included in the project site for the purposes of the boundary line adjustment. The proposed development would consist of approximately 110 rental housing units. Most, if not all, of the units would be affordable housing units. If residential units are proposed that do not meet affordable housing criteria, development rights and building allocations would be required for those units.
