Butte County Department of Public Works proposes to widen and improve 2.08 miles of the Oroville Bangor Highway from just north of Whitehall Creek to approximately 600 feet south of Swedes Flat Road to meet current safety standards by straightening four curves, completing horizontal and vertical realignments of the highway, widening and paving shoulders, resurfacing the highway, replacing bridge rails at Rocky Honcut Creek Bridge, and installing asphalt concrete dikes and metal beam guardrails.
