Document Description
The proposed project site is comprised of approximately 17.74 acres at the terminus of Chesapeake Drive along Redwood City's bayfront. The project involves the removal of existing salt-processing structures and equipment and the construction of approximately 541,000 sf of manufacturing, research and development (R&D), office, and warehouse uses. The project would also incorporate a greenbelt around the waterfront perimeter of the site, consisting of a linear waterfront park and other amenities, and would set aside land for the construction of a new Marine Science Insitute facility.
