Removal of existing salt-processing structures and equipment on the site and construction of approximately 541,000 square feet of manufacturing, research and development, office, and warehouse uses. The project would also incorporate a greenbelt around the waterfront perimeter of the site, consisting of a linear waterfront park and other amenities, and would set aside land for the construction of a new Marine Science Institute facility.
