Document Description
Approval of the South 65th Street Area Plan (Plan) and adoption of General Plan Amendments and rezones that encourage mixed land uses for the area south of the 65th Street Light Rail Station. The Plan provides for a mix of housing types, promote residential and commercial mixed use development opportunities to support transit ridership, improve pedestrian circulation and access to light rail, and reinforce the connection between California State University, Sacramento, the 65th Street Transit Station, and the project area. The plan provides for community-supporting retail and commercial development. An urban design plan including guidelines for the project area is also part of the project.
